"The art of moving since 2012"

Tips and Faq

Preparing

  • If you have moved house before you will know how annoying tracking down cardboard boxes can be and how time consuming the packing is.
  • Let our packing services provide the sturdy materials you need, and make sure everything gets packaged safely and ready for transport by the experienced movers.
  • Make sure you have personally taken cash and jewellery with you to your new home.
  • Relax and let us do all the work but remember to:

Packing and Labelling

  • The moving and packing team prefers to organise box delivery and packing services at least two days prior to any removal. Why? It is easy not to know exactly how many moving boxes you need!
  • We can provide all of the packing materials needed, including bubble wrap, brown packing paper, stretch wrap, furniture covers, wardrobe boxes, etc.
  • When we arrive on-site just show us what you want packed and we shall take care of it for you - it is as easy as that.
  • We shall send up to three packers and movers to get the job done, but two is normally enough.

Moving Out

  • Is it big enough for you and your employees now, and is there room for you to expand in the future if you need to?
  • What's the security like? Not just in your particular building but in the surrounding area? And how will it affect your insurance?
  • Check the transport links and parking. Your employees will need to be able to get to work easily, and offering convenient access to visiting clients is always a bonus.
  • Check it has all the facilities you need - enough power sockets, a kitchen you can use, drinking water taps, male and female toilets and showers, air con and central heating…

Moving In

  • Regard moving as an opportunity to get rid of belongings you no longer need. Consider making ”donate” and “sell” piles in each room for things you could do without.
  • People have a tendency to keep outdated paperwork for a very long time. Realise that paper is very heavy. Do yourself a favour and get rid of any outdated documents prior to moving..
  • Make sure you have a generous supply of packaging tape, scissors, markers and labels.
  • Defrost your refrigerator in time for moving day.
